This Cookie Policy explains how KopeMaps uses cookies and Google Analytics when you visit our website at kopemaps.com.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, understand how you use the site, and improve your experience.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google, to count visits and to see which pages and links help people find Hawaii coffee. When Google Analytics runs on a page, Google receives:
- Pages: the pages you open, the page or site that sent you here, and the time of each visit
- Device and browser: device type, operating system, browser, screen size and language
- Approximate location: country, region and city, which Google works out from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
- Identifiers: random IDs in the
_gaand_ga_*cookies, which tell one browser and one visit from another - Outcome events: when you open a business website, map directions, a tour booking page or an online shop; when you use the map, filters or the coffee finder; when you open a news story, a source or an offer; and when you send the newsletter form and what the result was. These events carry a listing or story ID and the host name of the link. They never carry your email address, your search text or your exact location.
Advertising signals are off. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off for this site. Google does not join this data to Google accounts or use it for ads.
Retention. Google keeps event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. Then Google deletes it.

Your choice
Visitors in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics stays off until you choose Accept in the cookie notice. Before you choose, and after Reject, this site sends nothing to Google Analytics. Our host (Vercel) tells the site your country from your IP address. When the country is not known, the site also asks first.
You can change your choice at any time with the buttons under Your cookie choice on this page. When you withdraw your consent, collection stops at once and the site deletes the Google Analytics cookies.
All other visitors
Google Analytics runs without a notice. To stop it, choose Reject under Your cookie choice on this page. This browser keeps that choice, and Google Analytics then stays off on every visit until you choose Accept. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which stops Google Analytics on every website.
