A collective of farmers and food-makers sharing a kitchen is, if I'm honest, a more interesting premise than another café with nice lighting. They roast their own coffee, bake the sourdough, churn the coconut ice cream, and mill the matcha — all in-house. Whether all of it is done equally well is a question worth asking; roasting your own coffee is a real commitment, and it does suggest someone there is paying attention to what ends up in the cup. Worth knowing: they're closed Monday and Tuesday, and doors shut at 2 PM the rest of the week.
