An intimate, owner-led tour of a five-acre organic farm where Una and Leon welcome you into their home and lanai. It's genuinely good for those who want a deep dive into Hawaiian agriculture beyond just coffee, tasting everything from sugar cane and tree tomatoes to house-made chocolate. If you're looking for a quick, drop-in cafe visit or a polished, commercial tasting room, this isn't it—this is a working farm that requires a reservation and a slow drive up a gravel road.
Owner-led, appointment-only tours of organic crops including coffee, cacao, and tropical fruits.
Requires a reservation and a 'slow drive up a gravel road' to reach this hidden gem.
Guests frequently buy bags of coffee and chocolate to take home or have them shipped.
Our family acquired the farm in 1977, with the intention of healing the land and bringing it back to its natural, organic state after years of being exposed to harmful chemicals and conventional farming practices. Our ideals for the farm are based on respecting the earth and cultivating the land in a sustainable manner. Our five acre farm has been and is currently being worked organically, completely herbicide and pesticide-free. Ideally we prefer to utilize a closed circle of inputs, by creating our own amendments such as using compost and recycling all of the organic matter from the farm. We do also purchase certified organic fertilizers to add to our fertility.
